Aligning Unmanned Systems with National Industrial Blueprints

Officiated by Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry YB Tuan Sim Tze Tzin, the initiative establishes a framework to accelerate technology adoption across the domestic aerospace sector. Organised by the National Aerospace Industry Corporation Malaysia (NAICO Malaysia), the roadmap supports the Malaysian Aerospace Industry Blueprint 2030 (MAIB2030) and the New Industrial Master Plan 2030 (NIMP2030). Ir. Ts. Dr. Shamsul Kamar Abu Samah, Chief Executive Officer of NAICO Malaysia, delivered the welcoming remarks outlining the targets for cross-sector industry engagement.

Oscar One’s Role in Low Altitude and MRO Technology Integration

Oscar One deployed a delegation comprising Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer Nidzam Azizan and Head of Engineering & Technology (UAV Division) to engage with government policymakers and technology partners. The sessions focused on establishing operational frameworks for unmanned aircraft systems and integrating digital inspection workflows into standard MRO operations.

Cross-Agency Collaboration for Aerospace Growth

The engagement session brought together ecosystem stakeholders to address regulatory integration, supply-chain readiness, and advanced testing infrastructure. Discussions addressed operational sandboxes, data compliance, and the commercial transition required to establish Malaysia as a regional hub for unmanned operations. Oscar One will continue working alongside NAICO Malaysia and industry partners throughout the roadmap drafting and working-group phases.
